In the ongoing battle for free speech, a major ruling was made in California that determined the new rules of the road. A woman on the west coast lost her battle with a traffic citation that cited her for “excessively honking”. Per the ruling of the courts, horns are not protected by free speech.
The woman filed a civil suit in 2018, claiming that she was forced to “censor herself by refraining from using her vehicle horn for expressive purposes, including but not limited to expressing support for political protests, rallies, or demonstrations.”
Even though the citation was dismissed due to the officer not showing up in court, the woman fought, and lost.

Oscar Mayer is giving freaks a chance to have an unforgettable wedding. Weddings will occur on April 15 and 16 next to the historic Little White Chapel on Las Vegas Boulevard and couples can sign up here, although the page has been so busy that it has been prone to crashing.
The company said, “Now, as more people seek stress-free ceremonies with their partners, our Hotdoggers are thrilled to reignite the joy of this special day and give them a once-in-a-lifetime experience: a wedding through a pair of meat-colored glasses.”

Three months ago, Steven Tyler was sued for sexually assaulting a minor. He’s now made his first public response about the claim, noting that plaintiff Julia Misley didn’t suffer any damages, alleging that Misley “failed to mitigate” any alleged damages herself prior to filing suit, all while not denying that he’d had sex with Misley while she was 16 and 25 at the time of the allegations, and claiming that all parties consented to the sexual relationship, and that her claims were barred “because of immunity to Defendant as caretaker/guardian.”
This baffled legal experts, who quickly remarked that “There is no such thing as immunity to a caregiver or guardian for sex abuse. I don’t have the words to describe how crazy it is.”
In Tyler’s 2011 memoir, he wrote about his relationship with Misley, famously saying, “she was sixteen, she knew how to nasty, and there wasn’t a hair on it.”
Gross.

The White Sox closed out a tough week by being shut out against Pittsburgh. The Sunday matinee between the Sox and Pirates was largely uneventful, with the Sox losing 1-0, but the lack of offense didn’t stop the benches from clearing in the 6th inning.
Pirates shortstop Oneil Cruz fractured his ankle with an awkward slide into home. As he rolled around in pain, Sox catcher Seby Zavala appeared to shout at him on the ground. Jomboy Media broke down the play here.

Hot off the heels of celebrating the 20th anniversary of Meteora’s original release date (we highly recommend this retrospective on the record), Linkin Park has dropped the 20th Anniversary Edition of their 2003 masterpiece, Meteora, and the goodies inside are unbelievable.
Notably, the band has unveiled a number of previously unheard songs, including the anthemic “Healing Foot”, which just missed making the original album.
The band also released their Live in Texas concert from 2003, a breathtaking performance featuring an array of the band’s biggest hits.
The release also features a number of never-before-heard demos from Meteora’s biggest hits.
A full playlist of Linkin Park’s 20th Anniversary Meteora record can be found here.
