I guess anything with Kurt Cobain's name on it is valuable these days. One of his old credit cards, which he signed and has a handwritten phone number on it, is going up for auction at the end of the month.
It's expected to fetch between 7 and 9 grand. I wonder if they know it expired in 1995?

Well, here's some news you don't hear every day. Blur will be releasing a new album in 2015. We haven't been able to say that in 12 years actually. The new album is called "The Magic Whip" and is due out April 28th.
They started working on the songs in 2013 and when asked about touring the states, Damon Albarn answered "Maybe, if anyone is interested." The announcement comes complete with a new song called "Go Out" which you can watch below.

The eBay auction — which runs through Monday — is offering two days of recording time at Dave Grohl’s Studio 606. It’s the same studio featured in the Foo documentary Back and Forth and Grohl’s Sound City film. Proceeds from the auction will go to Charlotte Squires, the mother of Loaded guitarist Mike Squires, for her cancer treatments.
Let the bidding begin! Auction here.
Modest Mouse frontman Isaac Brock says the eight-year gap in between their albums might have been shorter if not for one key loss.
Brock answered fan questions on Reddit Monday night after posting a link to “The Ground Walks, With Time in a Box,” the latest track to be revealed from Strangers to Ourselves. One fan asked, “How has the loss of Eric Judy effected the band?” Judy was the co-founder and bassist in Modest Mouse, and retired from the band in 2012. Brock responded, “The loss of Eric has affected us immensely. He had a much larger role in songwriting than I think he was even given credit for. And his importance, well, it’s really hard to even measure that. But yea, it’s affected us.”
Strangers to Ourselves will be released on March 17th.
