I love hearing different interpretations of a song by another musician. Covers that change the fabric and vibe of the original and Florence Welch has done just that with Mark Bowen from Idles on No Doubt’s 1995 girl power anthem ‘Just A Girl’ for the new season of Yellowjackets.

From a press statement, “I’m such a huge fan of Yellowjackets and this era of music, and this song especially had a huge impact on me growing up, so I was thrilled to be asked to interpret it in a ‘deeply unsettling’ way for the show.
