Riot Fest just released their initial line up and, sure enough, it’s a doozy. The Chicago festival with strong DIY roots continues to expand its offerings beyond “traditional” punk rock with one of its most musically diverse collection of acts to date.
Another week, and yet another awesome 2 hours of great Alternative music! Hear bands like Buffalo Tom, Husker Du, Gravity Kills, as well as hear classic Alt bands like U2, Jane’s Addiction, and Depeche Mode (along with many, many more)!
If only we could go back in time to tell ourselves we really DIDN’T need that last whiskey shot yesterday…closest we can get to time travel is listening to 80s/90s alternative while nursing our hangover.
There’s a new Oasis documentary, Morrissey is headlining at Riot Fest 2016, and Green Day are coming back later in the month. It’s a REALLY great year for fans of 80s/90s rock, and this playlist is the cherry on top. 🍒
